Korean version of Reclaiming Public Water was published on 25th September 2006 by the Korean Government Employees' Union (KGEU). Around about the same time as the publication, the KGEU proposed and formed a coalition of NGOs, environmental groups and trade unions - Joint Action against Water Privatization - to fight against the government's plan to privatize water supply nationwide. It is the first movement that is working on water privatization in Korea.
